A NEW CHAPTER IN FOOD BUSINESS
What is needed for the food business in the future is to know new markets and to meet people you can trust and talk to. This tour is an opportunity for companies that want to deliver Japanese food and drinks, companies that want to purchase Vietnamese ingredients and processed foods, and companies that want to propose processing, packaging, and inspection equipment to explore their next steps.
Through dialogue with local companies, we confirm their approach to quality, supply systems, needs of the sales floor, and technologies they would like to introduce, which cannot be seen by price alone. Share objectives through a preliminary survey and adjust business negotiations according to both parties' wishes. You can gain perspectives that will lead to future business decisions from market outlooks by university professors and stories from Japanese companies that have expanded into the market.
The important thing is not to rush into a contract on the spot, but to foster a relationship that continues through estimates, sample exchanges, prototyping, and the next interview. The experience of listening to local voices is also useful for refining products and reviewing procurement sources. On the third day, participants will confirm the information obtained through business negotiations on-site by visiting the companies they interacted with and being guided around the city and secondary markets. During these four days, you will have time to step away from your daily routine and think about the future of your business, as well as opportunities for concrete dialogue. Please come to Ho Chi Minh City in search of an encounter that will bring out your company's strengths. First, please tell us about the business you want to realize.

Consult with food manufacturers and agricultural and marine product processing companies regarding quality, supply quantity, price, and delivery date. We will explore possibilities for procurement and OEM production.
Food processing/packaging/inspection equipment
For processing/filling/packaging/inspection equipment manufacturers and used equipment sales companies. We hold business negotiations with factories and machinery sales companies that are considering introducing equipment.
Business partners and number of interviews will be adjusted according to the wishes of both parties. The networking session does not guarantee that business negotiations will be concluded. For used equipment, we will check the model, year of manufacture, purpose, etc. before making any adjustments.
BUSINESS EXCHANGE
The recruitment slot on the Japanese side is 80 people in total, 50 people arriving and departing from Narita Airport and 30 people arriving and departing from Kansai Airport. The minimum number of participants is 10 companies and 20 people, and the participation is limited to 2 people per company. We plan to recruit 80 people from 40 companies on the Vietnamese side. Rather than just exchanging business cards with a large number of people, we will focus on individual business negotiations that are arranged in advance.

Lectures are being planned and arranged for a university professor and a Japanese company that has expanded into the area. Speakers, content of presentations, and number of business negotiations will be announced once confirmed.
Lunch will be served at the restaurant. One lunch on the day of the networking event is included in the trip price.
We are planning a lecture by a university professor about the outlook for Vietnam's economy and food business, and a lecture by a Japanese company that has already expanded into Vietnam. Speakers, topics, and time for each lecture are currently being finalized.
Interpreters will be assigned to reserved slots and will be implemented on a rotating basis. We adjust business negotiations according to each company's wishes.
The Japan-Vietnam food business exchange meeting and business meeting will end.

YOUR FOUR DAYS IN HO CHI MINH CITY
A 2-night, 4-day itinerary that combines networking events, company visits, and market inspections, departing from Japan on Tuesday, October 12, 2027, and returning to Japan on Friday, October 15, 2027 in Ho Chi Minh. On the third day, you can use your room until 6pm.
Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, a local representative will meet you at the airport. A private car will take you to Hotel Nikko Saigon. You can also discuss changing to round-trip business class.

A lecture is scheduled to begin at 13:00 at the hotel's Origami Grand Ballroom. We are planning a lecture by a university professor about the outlook for Vietnam's economy and food market, and a lecture by a Japanese company that has already expanded into Vietnam. The business meeting will begin at 2 p.m. and close at 4 p.m. Instructors and presentation topics are currently being arranged.

We have secured a guest room for two nights and a venue for the social gathering in the same hotel. Preparing in your room and moving to the venue is easy.

Lectures and individual business negotiations will be held at the hotel's banquet hall, which has already been secured. Details regarding usage range and seating arrangement will be coordinated with the hotel.

13:00–14:00 / Lecture
A podium and microphone will be set up on the podium in front, and lecture materials will be projected on a screen. The long desk is arranged so that it can also be used for business negotiations, and the chairs face forward during lectures.
Rather than a theater style with only chairs, it is arranged with a long table where you can write and check documents. The usual one-way school format will be adjusted to serve as a face-to-face business meeting.
14:00–16:00 / Business negotiation
A total of 40 tables will be provided, one table for each of 40 Japanese companies. Each table will have two Japanese seats and two Vietnamese seats facing each other, with an interpreter seat on the short side.
20 interpreters will be arranged at 20 tables in rotation. The Japanese side will remain at the designated table, and the Vietnamese side and the interpreter will move at the scheduled time. This is not simultaneous interpretation for all 40 tables.
Basically 160 company participants + 20 interpreters = 180 people, guests and management seats will be arranged separately. Display table numbers and company names to ensure visibility of central aisles, cross aisles, and screens. We are planning to discuss the use of the foyer for reception and document display. We will confirm with the hotel whether 40 tables can be installed and the dimensions of the chairs and aisles, and adjust the arrangement and space used as necessary.

An interpreter is not an exclusive companion during your stay. We will inform you of the placement and negotiation slot in advance.
