On the second day, we headed from Hanoi to Trang An in Ninh Binh province. A small boat takes you around the green limestone rock formations, the mountains reflected in the water, and the low-ceilinged caves. After enjoying a local cuisine lunch, you will be transferred back to the same hotel in Hanoi.

The third day is completely free time until departure. Feel the breeze by the lake, look through the alleys of the old town, or take a break at your favorite cafe. Enjoy your time at your own pace until the time of your return trip.

Trang An in Ninh Binh Province in northern Vietnam is a scenic spot of towering limestone peaks, water-filled valleys, and caves connected by underground water. In 2014, it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with both cultural and natural value. In the background are cave ruins that tell the story of more than 30,000 years of human life, and the history of people adapting to changes in sea level and climate is highly praised. In addition, the beautiful landscape of green mountains and waterfronts, as well as the tropical karst topography that has been formed over many years, were also reasons for the registration. The registered area also includes the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, which dates back to the 10th and 11th centuries, as well as temples and countryside. On this course, you will tour this rich landscape in a small boat and enjoy the scenery of strangely shaped rocks and water caves.

It is also known as the filming location for the movie “King Kong: Skull Island” (2017). We will guide you on the day's route depending on water levels and flight status. It does not include visits to specific movie sets or filming locations or tours of all registered areas.

DAY01

Narita/Kansai/Chubu/Fukuoka → Hanoi/Noi Bai Airport → Hotel

A Japanese staff member will greet you at the airport. Go on holiday in Hanoi.

From each airport in Japan, fly to Hanoi on Vietjet Air (Vietnam Airlines plan available). After arriving at the airport, complete immigration formalities and baggage collection, then proceed to the arrival lobby. A local Japanese speaking staff member holding an information board with the Southern Breeze logo will welcome you and transport you to your hotel in a vehicle along with all of you participating in the tour.

Free time after arriving at the hotel. Enjoy walking around the area and having dinner on your own from a hotel in Hanoi that is convenient for walking around the city.

DAY02

Hanoi → Ninh Binh Trang An → Hanoi

To Trang An, a world heritage site. A day spent exploring strangely shaped rocks and water caves.

  • Around 08:00After breakfast at the hotel, go to Trang An with the local Japanese staff. We will travel by vehicle with all the customers participating in the tour.
  • Around 10:30Trang An Cruise (Small boat tour). Admire towering limestone formations, waterfront views, and pass through low-ceilinged caves. The tour is estimated to take approximately 2 to 3 hours.
  • Around 13:30After disembarking, at a local restaurant.Ninh Binh local cuisine lunch. Participants are responsible for their own drink costs.
  • AfternoonAfter lunch, drive to Hanoi. Take breaks as needed along the way.
  • Around 17:00Return to the hotel in Hanoi. For dinner, enjoy walking around town and looking for restaurants on your own. We will stay at the same hotel as the previous day.

Excursion by boat: Approximately 2 to 3 hours. The time and route, including boarding and disembarking and tours, will be adjusted depending on the situation on the day.

Includes Trang An sightseeing entrance fee, boarding fee, and one lunch. The route and order may change depending on water levels, weather, and local navigation decisions. While on board, wear a life jacket, sit back and enjoy. In a water cave with a low ceiling, bend your head as the boatman guides you. Depending on the capacity of the small boat, the passengers may be split up and the Japanese speaking staff may board a separate boat.

Completely free time until departure → Noi Bai Airport at night

Completely free time until departure. Enjoy your time in Hanoi as you like.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will have complete free time until departure. There are no sightseeing plans. Enjoy walking around Hoan Kiem Lake and the old town, visiting cafes and shopping at your own pace. Please eat lunch and dinner on your own.

Check out of the hotel at the specified time. Late check-out until 18:00 is available for an additional charge (arranged after confirming room availability). In the evening, from the meeting point we will inform you in advance, the local Japanese speaking staff and all the tour participants will head to Noi Bai Airport to complete the procedures for your return flight.

Hanoi Noi Bai Airport → Airports in Japan

Departed around midnight. Returned to Japan early on the same day.

After midnight on the 4th day, we departed from Hanoi Noi Bai Airport. They will spend the night on the return flight and return to their respective airports in Japan early on the same day. After arrival, the group will be disbanded.

Will you be staying overnight in Trang An?

Trang An is a day trip on the second day. After the cruise, you will return to Hanoi and stay at the same hotel as the day before. There is no overnight stay on the ship.

What can I do during my free time on the third day?

The third day is completely free time until departure. Take it upon yourself to explore the Old Quarter and around Hoan Kiem Lake, cafes and shopping. Vehicles and staff accompanying you during your free time, facility entrance fees, food and beverage costs, etc. are not included. We will inform you of the meeting place and time for airport transfer.

Will a tour conductor accompany me from Japan?

A tour conductor will not accompany you. A local Japanese guide will pick you up at the airport, take you on a day trip, and see you off when you return home. Local contact and guidance details will be provided to you prior to departure.

How many meals are included?

Two breakfasts, one lunch, and no dinner. Lunch is scheduled for sightseeing in Trang An on the second day. Lunch on the third day, dinner on each day, drinks and other personal expenses are not included.

Can I choose a single room?

When applying for a single room for 2 or more people, an additional charge of 5,000 yen per person for basic hotels, 28,000 yen for classic, 19,000 yen for solar, 77,000 yen for Capella, 24,000 yen for May de Ville, and 27,000 yen for Oriental Jade (for 2 nights each) will be added. The price of the changed hotel is the difference from the price when two people occupy one room. Sharing a room is not possible. In the case of an odd number of people (3 or more), an additional charge for at least one single room will be required. Can I use the hotel until the last night?

The basic stay is 2 nights. On the third day, you will check out from the hotel at the designated time, and then have free time to explore the city. You can use the form to select L/C (late check-out), which allows you to use your room until 18:00. The price per person for two people in one room is 2,500 yen for the basic hotel, 7,000 yen for the classic, 4,750 yen for the solar, 19,250 yen for the Capella, 6,000 yen for the May de Ville, and 6,750 yen for the Oriental Jade. The price for a single room is double that: basic hotel 5,000 yen, classic 14,000 yen, solar 9,500 yen, Capella 38,500 yen, May de Ville Crown 12,000 yen, Oriental Jade 13,500 yen (one charge on the last day). Single-person participation will be calculated based on the single room rate. The amount will be totaled according to the combination of rooms and will be added separately from the calculation of 1.8 times the travel fee (rounded to the nearest thousand yen). Are there any changes to the cruise content or weather?

The tour is scheduled to take approximately 2 to 3 hours in a small boat. The tour will take you through limestone mountains and water caves, but the route and stops will be adjusted according to water levels, weather, and navigation conditions. In the event that the flight is canceled at the discretion of the local management, the travel agency will inform you of alternative content and payment conditions.

Can I change airlines or extend my stay? Why 2 nights and 4 days?

It is possible to change airlines, extend your stay, and change hotels. The travel cost is 138,000 yen for Vietjet Air and 168,000 yen for Vietnam Airlines (2 nights, 4 days, 2 people in 1 room, per person, fuel surcharge and airport taxes included). Additional hotel charges will be added for the changed hotels listed. A separate estimate will be provided for extending your stay or changing to a hotel other than those listed. We plan to spend 2 nights at a hotel in Hanoi and 1 night on the flight home, departing from Hanoi after midnight on the 4th day, returning to Japan early on the same day, and disbanding after arrival. The time and schedule will be adjusted depending on the flight being operated.
