From Hanoi to the southwest. Mai Chau is a rural valley surrounded by green mountains. Walk through villages where Bai Tai culture is alive, admiring roads that pass through rice fields and wooden stilt houses.
Lac Village, Pom Cone Village, and Nyot Village. 2 nights and 4 days to visit the local Japanese language staff and learn about their daily lives and handicrafts. Stay at Mai Chau Lodge for two consecutive nights and enjoy your time in the mountain village.

From Narita, Kansai, Chubu, and Fukuoka airports, fly to Hanoi with the airline of your choice. After entering the country, you will be welcomed by a local Japanese language representative. We will take you to Mai Chau Lodge in a private vehicle for tour participants, taking a restroom break.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out. Head to Nyot village by private car,1 hour village walk in the morning. We will visit the houses on raised floors and the countryside, and introduce the handiwork of textiles depending on the acceptance situation.
After lunch, head to Noi Bai Airport in the afternoon. You will take breaks while moving, and the local Japanese language staff will guide you until you see them off when you return home. Please enjoy dinner on your own.

Hanoi Noi Bai Airport → Airports in Japan
We left Hanoi after 12pm and the date changed. On the return trip, the group will spend the night on the plane, and will disband after arriving at each airport in Japan on the same day.
This is the planned itinerary. Road distance and time are estimates based on route, traffic, and weather. We will make adjustments according to the acceptance situation of the village and the flight schedule. Flight dates and times, transfer connections, in-flight meals and baggage conditions will be confirmed at the time of reservation, and a final itinerary will be provided.

On the second day, we will mainly explore the culture of the Bai Tai people in Lac and Pom Khong villages, and on the third day, we will visit the Thai textile culture and lifestyle in Nhont village. Tours of the inside of the house and workshop are subject to availability on that day.
The second day is a model course of about 2 hours and 30 minutes and about 3.5 to 5 km, and the third day is about 1 hour and about 1.5 to 2 km. The elevation difference is expected to be approximately 20-50m in the morning on the second day, approximately 10-30m in the afternoon, and approximately 10-30m on the third day. Breaks and tours are not included in walking time. We will inform you of the confirmed walking conditions before signing the contract, based on a rough estimate prior to actual measurements and on-site confirmation.
This is a relatively easy village walk centered on the flat roads in the valley. However, there are steps and unpaved roads, which can become slippery in rainy weather. Please bring comfortable, non-slip shoes, rain gear, a hat, drinking water, and a small backpack. If you have any concerns about walking, please contact us in advance.
Approximately 160 to 180 km by road from Noi Bai Airport, approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to 4 hours and 30 minutes, approximately 4 to 5 hours including a restroom break. This is an estimate based on route, traffic, and weather. Immigration and baggage collection times are separate, and you will be transported by a local Japanese speaking representative and a vehicle exclusively for tour participants.
Basically Mai Chau Lodge Deluxe Mountain View (with shower, twin or double). Single room is +11,000 yen/person. The junior suite has a bathtub and 1 double bed, and the change fee is +18,000 yen/person, and the single room is an additional 18,000 yen/person. Both are for 2 nights. Suites for 2 people share the same double bed. Since shared rooms are not possible, if the number of guests is an odd number, you will need to pay an additional fee for at least one single room.

A tour conductor will not accompany you, and a local Japanese speaking staff will guide you from arrival at the airport to seeing you off. You can enjoy photographing landscapes, but please obtain permission before photographing people, inside houses, or handicrafts. We do not enter private land or fields without permission, and we respect the lives of residents when visiting them.
It is possible to change airlines, extend your stay, and change hotels. The form allows you to select the airline, the hotel room category, and the single room. A separate estimate will be required for extending your stay or changing to a different hotel. Basically 2 nights at a hotel in Mai Chau and 1 night on the flight home. The trip will depart from Hanoi after midnight on the 4th day and arrive in Japan on the same day, so it will be 4 days and 2 nights. Flight dates and times will be confirmed at the time of reservation.
