Visit the rice terraces around Lapantan village and Bantay village where the Thai people live. This is a journey where you will walk along paths along terraced rice fields and village roads with a local Japanese guide to get a closer feel of the scenery and life.
This is a trekking walk around the village trails and terraced rice fields. The walking section will be guided according to the local road surface and weather. Water filling conditions vary depending on the weather, year, and section.

4 days, including 2 nights at a local hotel and an overnight stay on the plane on the way back. This itinerary allows you to enjoy trekking through rice terraces and walking through villages even if you have limited time off.
Go to Mukanchai during the watering season. Walk along the path around the terraced rice fields, admiring the layered curves of the ridges, the sky reflected in the water, and the overlapping mountain ranges.
Visit the area around Lapantan village, where the Hmong people live, and Bantay village, where the Thai people live. This is a journey that focuses not only on the rice terraces, but also on the houses and lifestyles of mountain villages.
A local Japanese guide will accompany you for 2 nights and 3 days, from your arrival at Noi Bai Airport to your departure from home. We can also provide advice in Japanese regarding transportation and on-site consultations.
Airport transfers and transportation to trekking sites will be provided in a vehicle exclusively for tour participants. We use minivans for small groups and Ford Transit vans for large groups.

Around La Pantan village / Hmong area
Drive around La Pán Tẩn village by private car. In an area where the Hmong people live, you will trek along trails along rice terraces and village trails with a Japanese guide. We will set aside time for walking in the morning and afternoon, and enjoy the rice terraces and mountain ranges of Mizukage, as well as the life in the Satoyama. We will guide you along the way, taking breaks along the way.

We plan to drive to the starting point and walk a short section around the rice terraces in the morning and afternoon. Elevation differences are for each section and are not added up. Actual walking time excludes breaks, etc. Elevation difference is the difference between the highest and lowest point within the section.

Bantay Village / Thai → Noi Bai Airport
In the morning, walk through the village of Bản Thái in Kim Noi district. After walking along villages lined with stilt houses and rice fields with your Japanese guide and getting a feel for the daily life of a Thai village, head to Noi Bai Airport by private car in the early afternoon. A Japanese guide will accompany you until you see off at the airport.

Includes slopes, steps, and unpaved roads. Please bring comfortable non-slip shoes, rain gear, and drinking water. The actual walking time on the second day is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours 30 minutes and approximately 5 to 7 km, and the third day is a reference plan of approximately 1 hour and approximately 1.5 to 2.5 km. Elevation differences are listed for each section in the itinerary. All estimates are estimates prior to on-site confirmation, and we will inform you of the planned route before signing the contract. Stayed at a local hotel for 2 nights and went to the airport on the third night. Since the flight will depart after midnight on the fourth day of the date change, it will take four days to arrive in Japan, including one night on the flight back. Confirmed departure and arrival times will be announced by departure airport, airline, and flight date.
The trip departs every day from May 20th to June 10th, 2027, and is designed for the flood season, but the amount of water and rice planting time will vary depending on the weather, year, and area. We do not guarantee that the landscape or farming scenery will be the same as the published photos. We will guide you through rice terrace trekking and village walks according to local conditions.
Walk along the paths around the rice terraces and village roads with a Japanese guide. There are slopes, steps, and unpaved roads that can become slippery after rain. Please bring comfortable non-slip shoes, rain gear, and drinking water. The total walking time on the second day is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours 30 minutes and approximately 5 to 7 km, and the third day is approximately 1 hour and approximately 1.5 to 2.5 km. Please see the table in the itinerary for approximate route-by-section estimates including elevation differences. The figures are reference plans before on-site confirmation. Sharing a room is not possible. If there is an odd number of people, an additional charge for a single room will be required. The additional charge for a single room is 25,000 yen for the basic hotel plan and 24,000 yen for Gariya Mukanchai (both for 2 nights at the hotel, per person). In the case of Gariya, a hotel change fee of 15,900 yen will be added separately. The minimum number of participants for the entire tour is 4 people. If you are applying for less than 4 people, we will confirm the number of participants and inform you accordingly.
You can discuss any of these with us. The cost for using Vietnam Airlines is 169,000 yen (per person when two people occupy one room, including fuel surcharge and airport taxes). Changes to Gariya Mukanchai will cost +15,900 yen per person (2 nights in the hotel, 1 room for 2 people) and will be reflected in the total on the form. Additional stays, other hotel designations/changes, and other airlines will be quoted separately.
