To Mu Cang Chai

Along the way, you will enjoy some pho for breakfast.

Visit to the Zao ethnic village.The Dao are the 9th largest ethnic group among the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam, with a population of about 1 million.

There are seven groups within the Dao, and each group has its own unique costume.

Visit to a Thai village

The population of the Thai is 1.5 million, which is more than that of the Dao, and they are the second largest ethnic group after the main ethnic group, the Kinh.

There are two groups of Thai people, the Black Thai and the White Thai.

The unique ethnic art of the Thai people, the Kinh Pang Then Ritual, is registered as an intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO.

From the great view of Khau Pha Pass, we will visit the rice terraces of Mu Cang Chai.

The rice terraces of Mu Cang Chai are designated as "Vietnam National Cultural Heritage" and are also called "the most beautiful rice terraces in Vietnam". It is a "hidden place" that is not yet well known to English people!


* The best time to see the rice terraces is from early May to early June during rice planting season and from early September to early October during harvest season.

Depart to visit to White Thai and Blue Hmong villages.

There are several groups among the Hmong people, such as White Hmong, Blue Hmong, Black Hmong, etc., and they are divided by their traditional costumes and language.

Visit to a Lu ethnic village in Lai Chau Province

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Arrive in Sa Pa and take the mountain train + cable car to the top of Fansipan (3,143 m).

We will take a mountain train, ropeway, and cable car to the top of Fansipan, which is 3,143 meters above sea level.
