About this tour
Hanoi Water Puppet Show, the home of water puppet shows performed all over Vietnam!
This exotic show is a traditional performing art that you should definitely see at least once.
The play is nonverbal, so you can enjoy it with confidence.
This puppet show has been performed since the 10th century at ceremonies and harvest festivals.
The stage is all on the water! A puppeteer manipulates the puppets while submerged in the water, and the narration and music are performed live on the spot.
All the stories are short and easy to understand, making it popular among tourists.
You can enjoy the tour even if you don't understand the language, so feel free to join the tour! ?
