Phong Nha Cave, which was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003, is still a little-known gem in Japan.
This cave, the largest in Vietnam, was formed about 250 million years ago and is said to be the most beautiful cave in the East.The large fang-like stalactites, also known as the "Fang of the Wind," overwhelm viewers with its scale, which is unimaginable in Japan.
A huge underground water vein, which is said to be the longest in the world, flows inside, and the limestone cave at the back is lit up, creating a fantastical world. This cave is located in a mountainous area in central Vietnam near the border with Laos, so it is difficult to go on your own.
