Although small in scale, Banteay Srei is a sophisticated and elegant ruin with elaborate and deeply carved beautiful carvings all over its surface, and is said to be the "treasure of Angkor art."
40km northeast of the city, Phnom Kulen National Park is a small mountain range consisting of an independent plateau of moderately high mountains lying south of the Danrek Mountains.
Phnom Kulen is said to be the birthplace of Angkor and is said to be a sacred mountain.
The highlight is the two large waterfalls of Phnom Kulen.
Spring water comes out from near the summit, and the water flows through Siem Reap to Tonle Sap Lake.
It is also a revered mountain where local people come to purify themselves.
There is also a statue of Nirvana on top of the mountain, which is visited by many tourists as well as locals. Enjoy the dinner buffet with a wide variety of menu items while watching
