Nguyen Duc was born on February 25, 1981. He was a conjoined twin with his lower body connected to his brother Mr.Nguyen Viet.
In 1988, a group of Vietnamese doctors and a group of Japanese Red Cross doctors performed a separate operation at Tuzoo Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. The 17-hour major surgery was actually successful, however, Mr. Viet suffered from encephalopathy before the surgery and remained bedridden.
From 1989 to 1996, Doc attended school and then enrolled in the Department of Informatics at a higher vocational school. “I learned programming and so on.”
After that, he was actively working as hospital clerk and engaged in volunteer activities as well.
“I got married with Nguyen Thi Thanh Tuyen in 2006. After the marriage, I took over my brother Beto and took care of him as a couple.”
In 2007, Mr.Viet went to heaven.
On October 25, 2009, I was given twins, a man and a woman. The boy is Nguyen Phu Si, named after Mt. Fuji. The girl is Nguyen Anh Dao, named after the cherry blossoms.
On March 3, 2017, he met with His Majesty the Emperor during his visit to Vietnam (right photo), and from April he gave lectures as a visiting professor at Hiroshima International University several times a year.
